These ramps were sustainably harvested in Hudson, NY by our own staff and our kimchee was lovingly prepared in house at our Greenpoint Kimchee Market. *Ramps are a species of wild onion, tasting like a mix of garlic and scallion. Ramps only grow in the wild for a very short period each spring and must be foraged for. Ramps do not begin to produce seeds for 5-7 years and are very difficult to grow.
